
A Midsummer's Night's Dream LITE
April 23 and 24, 2021
Performances begin at 6pm.
Enjoy a live performance outdoors on the grounds of Theatre Memphis by the University of Memphis Theatre & Dance Department student performance project, directed and adapted by Anita Jo Lenhart. A 75-minute open-air production using minimal props and costumes, actors will be visible the entire time whether “on stage” or off.
This performance with the U of M student acting troupe is an opportunity to support safe, live theatre in their endeavor to master the art of open-air, comedic performance and bring some delight to the Memphis Arts scene during this extraordinary time.
STANDARD COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS WILL BE IN EFFECT WITH MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED.
Tickets are $10 per person.
There will be no formal seating supplied, and seating space may become limited due to protocols, so we encourage everyone to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating during the events.
Wine, craft beer and snacks will be made available at a cash and credit bar. Guest may bring other noshings as well, but the only alcoholic beverages permitted will be that for sale.
