Snow: A Fresh Take on a Stale Classic

Summer Performance Workshop

June 1 - 27, 2020

Join the Theatre Memphis Department of Outreach and Education as they dive into this modern spin on the story of Snow White! The Summer Performance Workshop allows students of all ages and levels of experience to work together to create an exciting ensemble presentation of this original new story. Auditions will be held the first day of the workshop, and every student involved will receive a role and ample time on stage. Students work together alongside Theatre Memphis staff and Teaching Artists to workshop key moments of the show so that students can contribute their ideas and feel ownership over the creation of a new work. Rehearsals are held every weekday from 1 - 4pm, and the workshop culminates with three public performances, June 25th, 26th and 27th at 2pm.

Instructors: Lena Wallace Black, Clare Rutkaukus and TM Teaching Artists.

Cost: $275
