Opportunities in August

All volunteers at Theatre Memphis receive complimentary tickets.

If you are interested, please email Amy Salerno Hale with the volunteer position and times you are available for given day(s). Volunteers must be available for a minimum of two consecutive hours of service for the following opportunities:

Lighting Assistants.....

Volunteers age 15+ welcome. (12+ for set walking when accompanied by a set walking adult.)  Please wear clothes you feel comfortable getting dirty.  Wear sturdy, closed toed, closed heeled shoes.  Volunteers for all projects are required to:

         - Work independently at times.
         - Have reliable transportation.

Set Walking - Newsies
Monday 8/13
2:30 - 5:30 PM

Four to five walkers will be needed for a light cue preview.  Set walkers sit, stand, and walk the set in the same areas as the actors while the director and designers view lighting cue for the show.  Please wear any other color but white or black or neon.  You may also want to bring something quiet (like a book) to occupy yourself during the downtime.

Light Focus - Heisenberg
TBA
One to two volunteers at a time will assist the light designer with focusing lighting instruments. Much of the work happens on the catwalks, above the house, so requires volunteers to be comfortable with heights.
