A Christmas Carol Light Hang & Focus
Monday, November 4
Tuesday, November 5

10:00 AM - Noon and 1:15 PM to 5:00 PM

Two to four volunteers at a time will assist the light designer with hanging & focusing lighting instruments. Some of the work happens on the catwalks, above the house, so requires volunteers to be comfortable with heights.  If you would prefer to work from the ground level, please specify in your response.

Ruthless Set Walking
TBA
Two set walkers may be needed for a light cue preview.  Set walkers sit, stand, and walk the set in the same areas as the actors while the director and designers view lighting cue for the show.  Please wear any other color but white or black or neon.  You may also want to bring something quiet (like a book) to occupy yourself during the downtime.

Backstage Crew.....

Volunteers age 16+ welcome. It is preferable that crew members volunteer for the entire technical rehearsal and performance process.  If that is not possibly, for the consistency and quality of the show, you must sign up for most of the technical rehearsals and at least half of the performances.  Applicants who can work the full schedule will be given preference. Our crew members are assigned specific duties, which they learn during a one to two week technical rehearsal period.  They continue to fulfill those duties during the three to four week run of the show.   To achieve the best possible show quality, we must have a crew that is well trained and consistent.  Crew assignments are a vital part of the production.  ALSO, when the final schedule is posted, we need you to stay true to the dates you have committed to.  It is VERY hard to replace you on last minute or without notice.    Volunteers are required to:
         - Follow directions well.
         - Work independently at times.
         - Have reliable transportation

A Christmas Carol, 42nd Annual Production
A Memphis Family Holiday Tradition. Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is approached by the ghostly vision of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of an upcoming spiritual journey.  An eye-opening exploration leads to happiness and enlightenment, not to mention song, dance and holiday cheer. Based on the Charles Dickens novel.  View the complete schedule and registration information here.
