These specialty items were created from the Lohrey Theatre stage floor at Theatre Memphis, removed in 2020 for renovation. Layers of paint from the decades of productions presented on that stage show through when filed down to reveal unique one-of-a-kind patterns. The Theatre Memphis production staff designed and crafted all of these creations in loving acknowledgment of our community theatre’s past (and future) participants.
All proceeds from these items will be applied toward our productions’ continuing artistic excellence at Theatre Memphis.
Andre; Thirty Years of Costume Design at Theatre Memphis is a hard-cover, 9″ x 11″, 108 page tribute to the creativity and longevity of Andre Bruce Ward, Costume Designer at Theatre Memphis since 1977. A brilliant full color publication serves to document an exciting era in TM’s history and celebrate a true artist’s body of work.
