SkillSet at Theatre Memphis is an exciting new technical theatre/backstage program for adults. Have you ever watched a theatrical production and thought to yourself, “I wonder how they did that?!?” It’s more than THEATRE MAGIC! It’s a SkillSet.
SkillSet is your opportunity to learn along side our veteran volunteer crew members and designers. SkillSet is a way for you to be involved in a multigenerational, multicultural, and multifaceted community organization, that is fully immersed in reaching for excellence as we support the performers on stage. SkillSet can offer you the chance to learn, lighting, crewing, sound, prop gather/making, stage management, costumes, sets and if you are REALLY dedicated – even design. SkillSet will officially launch in June but until that time – contact our SkillSet team and we will get you started on the track to new experiences, new friends, new challenges and a new community.
