Amy Rush moved to Memphis from Prague, Czech Republic in 2020 - what a change! She has formal training in puppetry and improv comedy and was excited to find that Memphis has a lovely community theater scene! Amy always is excited when she gets to be a part of a Theatre Memphis production (The Play That Goes Wrong, Midsummer Night's Dream, Rumors) and for years she has helped patrons find their seats as a volunteer usher, too!
Both the Lohrey Theatre and the Next Stage Theatre are wheelchair accessible with a handicapped accessible restroom on the same level as the main lobby to both venues. The Lohrey Theatre also provides hearing assisted equipment to any who may require or request it, at no charge.
The black box Next Stage seats up to 110 and is also wheelchair accessible with state of the art equipment for sound and lighting.
