Andre Bruce Ward

As Resident Artist at TM from 1976 until his passing in 2022, Andre was responsible for the costume design of hundreds of productions and was the recipient of more than 20 Ostrander Awards, including the Eugart Yerian Lifetime Achievement Award. He received a fellowship grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and highest honors from the American Association of Community Theatres. He is the subject of the book "Andre: Thirty Years of Costume Design at Theatre Memphis.
