Summer Youth Performance Workshop - Disney's The Descendants, The Musical Ensemble - Ages 8 - 12
Directed by Kirie Walz, Music Direction by Tammy Holt, Cheroegraphy by Jasmine Gillenwaters
Registration will begin March 1, 2024. Camp dates are as follows: June 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, July 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. On day one of the workshop, students will learn about the auditioning process and then audition for a role in the ensemble. The ensemble will spend the following days rehearsing while strengthening their performance skills. The cast will have four performances for the public in the 400+ seat, proscenium Lohrey Theatre. Showtimes are July 11th and 12th at 7:00 pm, July 13th and 14th at 2:00 pm.
STUDENTS MUST COMMIT TO WEEKEND PERFORMANCE TIMES UPON REGISTRATION.
Summer Performance Workshop is for ages 8 -12 (space is limited to 26 students). Once the roster is full , we will begin taking names for a wait list. students).
Cost: $300 per student
Payment will be due at time of registration.
About the show: When the children of Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Jafar, and the Evil Queen are invited to attend Auradon Prep School, this next generation of villains must decide whether to walk in their parents’ wicked footsteps or redefine their legacies.
