Witty and Irreverent. A satire of capitalism with a wink to great musicals of the past, this musical is set in the not too distant future when the country has had a 20-year drought. There is a terrible water shortage that has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. All citizens must use public amenities regulated by a single company that profits by charging admission. A young hero believes everyone should have the right to relieve themselves for free and he takes on the fight while also falling for the daughter of the owner of the money-hungry corporation. Things don’t look good for his cause … or his romantic life.
