B.F.A. and M.F.A. Theatre students from The University of Memphis are eligible to apply for the annual fellowship in play direction or stage management at Theatre Memphis. If a suitable candidate cannot be found from the disciplines mentioned above, candidates in other areas of theatre will be considered. All interested parties should apply.
Duties
Specific duties will be determined by the student’s skills and the theatre’s needs. Could include some of the following positions: Stage Management, Assistant Stage Management, Assistant Directing, Production Assistance, Scene/Prop Assistance, Lighting Assistance, Sound Assistance, Costume Assistance, Education Assistance
Duration
Summer 2020 and/or Fall 2020. At least 260 total hours. – Hours may be flexible, depending on theatre needs and student’s general availability.
Stipend
Paid in installments by the University of Memphis.
